Genealogy

Genealogy is the study and monitoring of the ancestry and/or descent of a person or family. It is an auxiliary branch of history and allows us to study the origin and history of families and surnames. The document that records said study is also called a genealogy or family tree.

But genealogy is not limited to collecting names and dates of our ancestors. It is also intended to know the society in which they lived, the space in which they inhabited, the vicissitudes that they had to go through.

All ancestors are important in this search, from ordinary people to those who played a prominent role in society, since each one of them was an irreplaceable link in our family chain and shaped what we are today.
